Full-bodied and dry, with velvety tannins and brisk acidity that keep 16% alcohol in balance.
Notes
Made from 22-year-old vines on clay and limestone at the Arbizzano di Negrar estate in the Valpolicella Classico zone. The grapes dry on bamboo and wood mats for about 4 months, losing 40–50% of their weight, then ferment 25–30 days with daily punch-downs. The wine ages 4 years in large oak and at least 6 months in bottle.

Serve at 60–68°F and decant at least an hour. 2016 is a classic Amarone vintage with years of life ahead.
