From the dramatic Alpine region of Savoie comes this crystalline white that's as refreshing as a face full of mountain air. The Perrier family (no relation to the water folks) has been making wines in these mountains since 1853, so they've had plenty of time to figure out what works.
Aprement is made from the local Jacquère grape, grown on steep slopes where vineyard workers develop calves of steel. The wine captures that high-altitude purity with its lean, mineral-driven character – like licking a really delicious glacier, but less cold and more socially acceptable.
It's the perfect match for Alpine cheeses, which is convenient since that's what the locals have been pairing it with for generations.
