Seehof 'Elektrisch' Riesling Kabinett
'Elektrisch' means electric, and for once a wine name isn't exaggerating. It's tart green apple and citrus with a buzz of acidity and just a whisper of sweetness.
Great with anything spicy, or with a Tuesday that needs a jump start.

Tasting notes02
Aroma
Granny Smith apple, citrus, mineral
Fruit
Green apple, citrus
Body
Light-bodied and off-dry, with high, electric acidity that keeps the touch of sweetness in check.
Notes
About 70% of the fruit comes from the estate's own holdings, mostly the Aulerde, a Grand Cru site in Westhofen, with the rest bought from growers in the village. The importer describes it as lighter, less sweet and more acid-driven than Kabinetts that taste like declassified Spätlese.
Other
Serve chilled, 45–50°F. Drink young for the zip, but it will hold a few years.
