About this tasting

Yes, we're a wine shop. Yes, we're doing a tiki weekend. No, we don't see the problem.

For three days, EJ's is trading in the corkscrew energy for tiki mugs, island music, and enough rum to make Trader Vic proud. We'll have tiki decorations up, tiki tunes playing, and a full lineup of tropical drinks flowing from open to close all three days – original creations, the classics done right, and one deep cut for the cocktail nerds.

Wine will still be here. The wine isn't going anywhere. But for one weekend, the rum is in charge.

Tickets: None. Drop in anytime. Tiki doesn't do reservations.

Drinks are available open to close, all three days. Come for one, stay for the glassware.

Wait, What Exactly Is Tiki?

Glad you asked, wine people. Tiki is an American invention from the 1930s – escapist tropical bars built by guys like Don the Beachcomber and Trader Vic, who figured out that layered rum drinks with fresh juice, spice, and a little theater could transport you somewhere warmer without a plane ticket.

The drinks are serious. The vibe is not. That's the whole point – and honestly, it's not far off from how we feel about wine. Good stuff, zero pretension, weird is better.

No Tickets. No Pressure. Just Tiki.

Drop in anytime, June 26–28. Grab a stool, order something with a ridiculous garnish, and enjoy one of the fun tiki glasses we'll be pouring into. Bring friends. Bring your skeptical wine friend. Especially bring your skeptical wine friend.
