Welcome to EJ's Wine Shop & Tasting Room ("EJ's Wine Shop," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website ejswineshop.com (the "Site") and any services we provide.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot provide valid proof of age. Orders placed by individuals under 21 will be cancelled without refund.
3. Account Registration

To make purchases or join memberships, you must create an account. You agree to:

- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate

- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

- Products will be available at the time of your order
- Prices are current and correct

- Prices are subject to change without notice
- Promotional prices are valid for specified time periods only
- We reserve the right to limit quantities
4.3 Product Availability
Wine and beer inventory is limited and subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you and offer:
- A substitute product of equal or greater value (with your approval)
- A full refund for the unavailable item(s)
5. Orders and Purchases
5.1 Order Placement
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase products. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason, including:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing errors
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Failure to meet age requirements
5.2 Order Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation when your order is placed. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order—it is simply a receipt of your order details.
Acceptance occurs when we process your payment and prepare your order for pickup.
5.3 Payment
Payment is processed through Stripe, our secure payment processor. By making a purchase:
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for the full order amount
- You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method
- You agree to pay all applicable taxes and fees
5.4 In-Store Pickup Only
We do not ship or deliver alcohol. All orders must be picked up at our physical location.
When picking up your order:
- You must present a valid government-issued photo ID proving you are 21+
- The person picking up the order must be the account holder or authorized designee
- Orders not picked up within 30 days may be cancelled with a refund minus a 10% restocking fee
6. Memberships
6.1 Wine and Beer Club Memberships
Our membership programs include:
- 6-Month Wine Club (1 bottle, 2 bottles, Chilled Only, Red Only)
- 6-Month Beer Club
6.2 Membership Terms
- Duration: Memberships are for a fixed 6-month term
- Payment: One-time upfront payment (not recurring subscriptions)
- Selections: Monthly curated selections available for pickup in-store
- Pickup: Members must pick up selections monthly; missed pickups may forfeit that month's selection
- Non-Transferable: Memberships are non-transferable except as gifts
6.3 Membership Cancellation
- No Refunds: Membership fees are non-refundable after the first 7 days
- 7-Day Window: Full refund available if cancelled within 7 days of purchase and no selections have been picked up
- Early Termination: Memberships cannot be cancelled mid-term for a refund
6.4 Gift Memberships
- Gift memberships can be purchased for others
- Recipient must be 21+ and provide ID at first pickup
- Gift memberships are subject to the same terms as regular memberships
7. Events and Reservations
7.1 Event Tickets
- Event tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us
- Tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise stated
- You must be 21+ to attend events serving alcohol
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone unable to provide valid ID
7.2 Reservations
- Backroom Reservations: Free for groups up to 25 people
- Full Shop Rental: Pricing and terms provided upon request
- Reservations must be made by registered users
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance
- No-shows may result in restrictions on future reservations
8. Returns and Refunds
8.1 Return Policy
Due to alcohol regulations, we cannot accept returns of wine or beer products once they have left our premises.
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup. We will:
- Inspect the product
- Offer a replacement of equal value, or
- Provide a full refund
8.2 Refund Policy
- Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Shipping or processing fees (if any) are non-refundable
8.3 Order Cancellation by Customer
- Orders can be cancelled before they are marked "Ready for Pickup"
- Once an order is ready for pickup, it cannot be cancelled

9. Reviews and User Content
9.1 Posting Reviews
By posting reviews or other content on our Site, you grant us:
- A non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content
