Lisboa
Lisboa (formerly known as Estremadura) is a large wine region along Portugal's Atlantic coast, extending north from Lisbon. The region benefits from a maritime climate with cooling Atlantic breezes that create favorable conditions for growing both indigenous Portuguese varieties and international grapes. Lisboa produces diverse wine styles, with white wines often made from Arinto, Fernão Pires, and Vital, while reds typically feature Touriga Nacional, Aragonez (Tempranillo), Castelão, and Syrah.
